During the three-year agreement period, Tieto will deliver solutions based on its standardised service platform. The deal applies to Camfil’s Air Filter division in Europe, helping the company focus on its core activities and continue its global expansion.
According to Tieto, it has tailored its cloud solutions to match Camfil’s current needs. The solutions can be scaled up or down and adjusted in accordance to the actual usage level. This makes it easy for Camfil to keep track of its IT costs.
“Tieto’s solutions will give us greater cost efficiency and clear traceability, while we avoid investing in our own IT and can instead focus on supporting our business and expansion abroad,” said Camfil CEO Tomas Bräne. “We are delighted to be able to secure a scalable, long-term IT solution as a basis for our future business.”
The value of the contract is approximately €4 million. The deal went into effect in September 2016.
